A rapid transit train pauses on the central track on the terminal’s second level. Open-type streetcars occupy the eastern streetcar tracks (left). The terminal’s third floor, occupied by offices of the BERy (top), spans the portal through which rapid transit trains entered the station from the Charlestown Elevated. The direction of the view is opposite of that shown in Figure 5.56.
