Highlighted in yellow, is a proposed conversion and extension of the East Boston Tunnel and Boylston Street Subway into a single rapid transit line connecting Maverick Square in East Boston (right) with Warren Street in Brighton (left). Highlighted in pink, is a proposed extension of the Tremont Street Subway and East Cambridge Extension from Lechmere Terminal to Brigham Circle (bottom).
